In its function the plunger valve manifold is basically equivalent to the function of the
matrix manifold. However, its functional principle is optimised for smaller sizes. This
manifold can also produce connections directly and simultaneously. It is equipped with a
pig catcher unit.
Its components are mounted to a base frame and sleeves connect them to the four connection
pipes. The whole of installed valves is fixed with locking plates which are connected via
tension rods. The base frame can be laid out for horizontal and vertical alignment of the
manifold intersections.
- Closed and piggable on one side
- Very compact installation size
- No hoses or couplings:
Maximum safety and prevention from leakages and accidents
- For pipelines with DN 25, 32 and 40
- Integrated pig catcher unit
- Few movable components – minimal maintenance
- Automatic or manual operation
- Piggable from and to connections
- Modular design for easy extension
- Cost-effective
The manifold unit consists of a grid-pattern distribution node which is piggable to one side.
This distribution node consists of an upper full system line and one pigging line on the lower
level. Both lines are arranged to each other in right angles. In initial state both lines
are separated from each other. By switching the manifold the pigging lines are connected to
each other.
The manifold can be equipped with following options:
- Base frames and system mounting plates for later extensions
- Automatic or manual operation
- Special materials as base material and for seals
